Short Biography
Dr. Ir. Djoko Sardjadi is an assistant professor in Aerodynamics, at Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (FTMD), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). He obtained his BSc in Mechanical Engineering from ITB in 1983, with final project titled “Experimental of Low Reynolds Number Airfoils in The Wind Tunnel”. His final project experiment was conducted in TU Delft Low Speed Aerodynamics Laboratory, which he then continued his Doctoral degree study. In 1996, he finished his doctorate degree from TU Delft Aerospace Engineering, with dissertation titled “Enhanced Conformal Mapping Method for Airfoil Design and Analysis”. His research interest are including airfoil design, experimental aerodynamics, and wind-tunnel design. He also co-founder of one of the first unmanned aerial vehicle company in Indonesia, UAVINDO.
