About Us
The Flight Physics Research Group is engaged in advanced research in experimental and computational aerodynamics, flight mechanics, control system, and astronautics. We focus on methodological development and applications on complex aerospace systems to realize high-performing and safe air and space vehicles. The group also focuses on non-aeronautics applications of aerodynamics and control systems, such as aerodynamic analysis and control design of ground vehicles. Our team members are experts in their respective fields who combine theoretical knowledge, research expertise, and practical experience to tackle intricate problems in the domain of flight physics.
Our research partners include top Indonesian, foreign universities, and national research institutions. Besides, we also maintain close partnerships with several companies that apply our expertise to realize functioning and high-performing aerospace solutions.
In terms of teaching, the Flight Physics Research Group is responsible for courses related to aerodynamics, fluid mechanics, flight performance, and control system in the undergraduate and graduate Aeronautics and Astronautics study program.
