Toto Indriyanto

Short Biography

Toto Indriyanto Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor at Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia. He is a member of Flight Physics Research group, where he conducts research in the area of avionic systems, aircraft performance simulation and dynamics. Some of his recent works are related to the development of UAV flight guidance systems, avionics assessment for air combat vehicle, guidance & control algorithm development, and optical tracking algorithms. He has been involved in collaborative works with some industry and institutions, such as P.T. Dirgantara Indonesia (Indonesia Aerospace Industries), P.T. LEN, LAPAN (Indonesian National Institute of Aeronautics and Space), Indonesian Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT), etc., mainly in research, development, education and engineering projects.

Dr. Toto earned his Ph.D degree from Cranfield University UK in 2001, where he had research in control engineering field. Prior to that, he got his Bachelor degree from Aerospace Engineering ITB in 1993, and his master degree from College of Aeronautics, Cranfield University U.K. in 1997.

In his spare times, Dr. Toto likes to read scientific magazines and collecting ebooks, listening to old songs, and enjoys morning runs. He have been actively involved in ITB 10K ultra-matrathons since 2017 and finished several 10Ks and unofficial half-marathons …
